The restored Park is now a major attraction for local and wider-based communities, for many types of both formal and casual recreation.

The 7 August 2019 was the 150th anniversary of the opening of Finsbury Park. The park was originally designed and laid out by Alexander McKenzie and opened in 1869.

In recent years the park has been the prime location for many international music acts, playing to large audiences within the open arena of the park.
